Taste of Auburn Hills is tonight

The Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce hosts Taste of Auburn Hills, 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. Besides a vast array of local eateries on tap, this year’s Taste will feature a chef action station by Hilton Suites Great American Bar & Grill; live musical entertainment by the Oakland University Jazz Band; and Chrysler’s unique collection of antique, custom and concept vehicles. New this year, a percentage of the event’s proceeds will support the Blessings in a Backpack program through the Avondale School District. The nonprofit organization helps supplement the nutritional needs of elementary school children who have little or no access to food on the weekends.
