Annual Michigan Energy Fair moves to Rock Financial Showplace
The Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association is holding the fifth annual Michigan Energy Fair June 25-June 27 at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi.
In previous years the Michigan Energy Fair has taken place at the Manistee County Fairgrounds in Onekama.
The Michigan Energy Fair has traditionally hosted 6,000 attendees over the course of a weekend, 150 exhibitors, over 75 seminars and involved Gov. Jennifer Granholm and Lt. Gov. John Cherry as keynote speakers.
Workshops are presented on a variety of topics including energy efficiency improvements, controlling energy costs, green building guidelines, wind siting, climate change, and tax credits for home and business energy systems. Visit www.glrea.org or call 517-646-6269.

Career Bootcamp offered for job seekers in 2 workshops

Career Bootcamp will be held in two workshops: 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. June 26 at 725 S. Adams, Suite 185 in Birmingham.
The workshop, led by Kelly Olin, a professional career and life coach, covers developing a resume and cover letter, interviewing skills, job search techniques, networking skills and professional communication and presence.
