Chamber hosts seminar on online marketing, e-commerce
The Rochester Regional Chamber is hosting a seminar titled “Legal Pitfalls Around E-Commerce and Online Marketing” featuring Troy-based attorney John T. Carter of Carter & Affiliates PC. The seminar is 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at the city of Rochester Hills, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive. WATERFORD
Golf Classic is Aug. 13
The Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Chamber Golf Classic is Aug. 13 at Pontiac Country Club, 4335 Elizabeth Lake Road. Registration and continental breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and shotgun scramble start is 8:30 a.m. It includes 18 holes golf with cart, buffet dinner, prizes and drink tickets. The cost is $125 per golfer, and $50 for dinner only.

BIRMINGHAM
Birmingham/Bloomfield annual golf event slated for Aug. 16
The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber golf event at the Birmingham Country Club is Aug. 16. Registration, networking and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
The event includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, refreshments served on the course, after-golf networking and a silent auction presented by The Sports Gallery.

SOUTHFIELD
Another way to view local cable
The City of Southfield’s municipal channel, Southfield Cable 15 is now available over AT&T U-Verse TV. Combined with Comcast Cable, Southfield residents now have two options to view Southfield Cable 15 programming.
AT&T U-Verse customers throughout Southfield can now view Southfield Cable 15 programming by selecting Channel 99 on their electronic programming guide. The station is listed alphabetically as City Cable 15 - Southfield, which viewers can locate by looking under “C.”
The launch of AT&T U-Verse in Southfield is projected to provide a new level of integration, convenience and control to its subscriber base by bringing together TV, broadband and wireless services under one technological umbrella. AT&T offers 100 percent IP-based television service.
Southfield’s municipal television programming is still available on Comcast Cable Channel 15 and Channel 915 for Comcast Digital customers. Live video streaming and on-demand videos of Cable 15 programming are also available on the city’s website at www.cityofsouthfield.com. For more information, call 248-796-4500.
