Hobby shop hosts model car camp during Dream Cruise
Woodward Avenue’s Rainy Day Hobbies offers interactive camp on model car building at 2 p.m. daily, through Friday, Aug. 20, at 22961 Woodward Ave. in Ferndale. The shop will offer the basics of model car building. Each session will give kids ages 5 to 13 a chance to learn how to assemble a miniature version of their favorite car from start to finish through a hands-on demonstration. Adults are welcome to stay.
The cost for the Model Car Cruise Camp, is $15 per child, which includes a starter model car kit to be used during the camp, as well as a bottle of water. More advanced kits are available for an additional fee. For more information, call 248-545-5667 or visit www.rainydayhobbies.com.
