Oakland Press Executive Editor Glenn Gilbert will be the guest speaker at the upcoming “Keys to Successful Community Marketing” program presented by Community Marketing Associates.
He will discuss how newspapers select news stories about local businesses. The free presentation is only available to business owners/managers of a Berkley business.
The presentation outlines the marketing advantages of local businesses linking together to promote the community and their businesses.

Bloom Asset Management, investment advisers, appointed Nicholas Defenthaler as their new client relationship manager. In his new postion, Defenthaler will be responsible for managing client portfolios. Prior to joining Bloom Asset Management, Defenthaler worked as a loan processor with Goldstar Financial Group in Ann Arbor.
