The Detroit chapter of Talent, Ideas and Enterprise, (TiE), the global networking forum fostering entrepreneurship will host an evening with Josh Linkner, founder and chairman of ePrize and entrepreneur, author, and jazz musician. The event is 5.30 p.m. today at UTLC Gallery, Lawrence Technological University, 21000 W. 10 Mile Road in Southfield. It is free for TiE members and $15 for nonmembers. OAKLAND/ MACOMB Tim Horton’s offers smile cookie to benefit charity Tim Horton’s locations in Metropolitan Detroit are hosting their Smile Cookie campaign to benefit Children’s Hospital of Michigan from Saturday, Aug. 14 through Saturday, Aug. 21. While supplies last, guests can purchase a special chocolate chip cookie, decorated with a smile, for $1 plus tax.
