Colossal Closeouts sells brand names for less

With the economy being stressful to consumers in the Detroit area, Colossal Closeouts was created to provide customers a place to shop for new brand name merchandise at very low pricing. They said they do not compare their store to the big box discounters like Kmart and Walmart or resale shops.
The shop carries many items that upscale boutiques, department stores, university sport shops, and golf clubs carry at closeout prices. The owners purchase goods from stores that have closed or manufacturers that overproduced. The store’s inventory is constantly changing, they said.
Colossal Closeouts is at 4396 Dixie Hwy in Waterford Township, just west of Sashabaw Road in the Rite Aid Center next to Papa Romano’s. For more information, call 248-461-6170.
