U-M unveils lineup for Entrepalooza 2010
Bringing together members of the business community and leaders in entrepreneurship and venture capital, The Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business will host Entrepalooza, its annual Entrepreneurial Symposium, Sept. 16-17 at the University’s Blau Auditorium.
This year’s expanded event will offer attendees inspirational success stories from serial entrepreneurs, Fortune 100 executives and venture capital leaders. Panel discussions and keynote presentations will provide insight into the current exit climate, opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurial success, as well as perspectives on emerging trends such as social entrepreneurship and alternative financing.

JoMomma’s Kitchen has opened at 39 Main St., across from the Macomb County Courthouse in Mount Clemens, featuring home-cooked-style meals and sandwiches. Everything is made from scratch daily using fresh ingredients. After 10 visits, customers can post a picture of their mom or a famous mom on a restaurant wall. It is open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce recently announced the addition of Dr. Bryan Cornwall of Advanced Pet Care of Oakland to the chamber’s board of directors. Cornwall has owned a business in Clarkston for more than 17 years and has served on the Clarkston Business EXPO and Halloween Howl committees.
