ImageSoft plans to relocate

ImageSoft, Inc. of Southfield has finalized the purchase of the ground floor of the former Wagon Building in Southfield. The company plans to relocate its 45-member corporate staff to the new space and expects to add an additional 30 new jobs during the next five years.
ImageSoft purchased the space, located at 25900 Eleven Mile Road near American Road, from Southfield Properties, LLC. ImageSoft owns and will occupy 15,000 square feet on the building’s main level, nearly tripling the size of its current leased offices at 40 Oak Hollow in Southfield.

Workshop offers job advice

Job seekers can learn more about when where and how to network at a free workshop from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, sponsored by St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Community at St. Jane’s Hall 1, 38750 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights.
In addition to covering the do’s and don’ts of networking, the session will offer job hunters tips on how to create an “elevator speech,” a concise personal commercial that will help them to be memorable. It will also include a speed networking session for participants to have a chance to practice skills that were covered. Admission is free, but seating is limited. Charter One adds loan officers

Charter One has added two mortgage loan officers to its Sterling Heights office: Sandra Kresnak of Shelby Township and Michael Labara of New Baltimore. Ken Sullivan of Clinton Township has joined the Clinton Township office.
Kresnak originates home financing programs, including conventional and government loans. She is a graduate of Walsh College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance and came to Charter One from Meadowbrook Mortgage Co., where she was a senior loan officer. She has been in the business for 13 years.
Labara has been in the mortgage business for nine years. He specializes in financing for first time home buyers and loans guaranteed by the Federal Housing Administration. He originates home financing programs, including conventional and government loans.
Sullivan came to Charter One from Chase Bank, where he was a loan officer. He has been in the mortgage business for more than 25 years. He originates a wide range of home financing programs, including both conventional and government loans and construction loans.

MADISON HEIGHTS
Amsdell acquires third self-storage center in area

Amsdell Storage Ventures I, LLC of Cleveland has acquired a third self storage center in the Detroit area. Located at 32000 John R. Road in Madison Heights, the facility was built in 2002 and was previously operated as Premium Self Storage.
It is a 664-unit facility with 75,075 net rentable square feet of climate and non-climate controlled self-storage space. The facility will be operated by Compass Self Storage, LLC, a member of the Amsdell family of companies.
