OU offers business intelligence certificate programOakland University’s School of Business Administration is partnering with Altair — a global provider of technology — to offer a new data mining and business intelligence certificate program. Utilizing 60 hours of classroom instruction from OU faculty and Altair staff, this post-baccalaureate certificate program will focus on theory, case studies and using HiQube business intelligence software to make competitive business decisions.
The program also incorporates a 100-hour, on-site internship, which allows students to apply newly acquired skills, all while making professional contacts.Prospective students must hold a bachelor’s or masters of science degree, preferably in the fields of IT, computer science, engineering, business, sales, marketing, operations management, procurement or finance. Classes begin on Thursday, Nov. 4.
