Pre-Business Research  9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2. This workshop is free.
Women's Business Certification Orientation is 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3. The fee is $25, make checks payable to WBEC-GL.
Small Business Loan Workshop  is 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 4. The fee is $20 per person, make checks payable to S.C.O.R.E. Includes handouts and SBA Source Book.
Fundamentals of Starting a Business is 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 10. The fee is $30.
Fundamentals of Writing a Business Plan is 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 18. The fee is $40, which includes all materials.

A one-day class, Short Sale - Selling Your House When The Mortgage is Upside-Down is 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at Seaholm High School, Room F105, 2436 W Lincoln St., Birmingham. SCORE & SBA present “Small Business Loan Workshop.”
In one of their series of workshops for small business, Detroit SCORE Chapter 18 and the SBA Michigan District Office, in cooperation with Oakland County, show entrepreneurs what a banker looks for in a loan application. They will also learn the 5 “C’s” of credit and details of the SBA loan guarantee programs.
