Job seekers workshop to be held Wednesday
Job seekers looking to develop more marketable resumes can attend a workshop hosted by St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Community from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at St. Jane’s Hall 1 (south entrance), 38750 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights. Joe Bieth, vice president with Astra Recruiting Solutions, will share resume writing tips. Participants will also receive a resume review and personal coaching from human resource professionals. Palace Sports names VP of public relations
Jeff Corey of Beverly Hills was promoted to vice president of public relations for Palace Sports & Entertainment.
He will be responsible for public relations efforts for The Palace, DTE Energy Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Music Festival including concerts, family shows, and sporting events as well as for the group of venues.
Corey joined the Detroit Pistons organization in 1980 as a public relations intern before serving on the sales staff as an account representative later in the year. He has been a member of The Palace Marketing Department since 1993 when he was named publicity coordinator. Corey also serves as a statistician on the Detroit Pistons scoring crew.
