Expert panel focuses on business opportunities with Mexico
Oakland University’s School of Business Administration will present “Mexico: A Multifaceted NAFTA Partner — What you need to know about doing business in/with Mexico,” from 9 a.m. to noon, Friday, Nov. 19, at Elliott Hall on the campus of Oakland University.
This panel discussion, featuring a slate of expert speakers, will focus on broadening understanding between the United States and Mexico in trade relations, political framework, international law, business innovation, education and cross-cultural communications.
With a population of more than 103 million people, Mexico has become the 14th largest economy in the world and the top exporter in Latin America. The country boasts more than 125 research and development centers and 1,200 universities, and is emerging as a knowledge economy power.
