Anton Art Center holds annual Christmas market
Those looking for special items for the holidays can visit the Anton Art Center’s annual Christmas Market, beginning Friday, Nov. 19. The Anton Art Center is located at 125 Macomb Place, Mount Clemens.
This year’s market is called “Starry, Starry Night” and is open through Dec. 22. All the handmade works in all media are for sale and many items are $30 or less.
It will be open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and noon-4 p.m. Sundays. The center is closed on Mondays and will also be closed Nov. 24

Just Baked introduces Faygo-flavored cupcakes
Beginning Thursday, Nov. 11, Metro Detroiters with a sweet tooth will now be able to have their cake and drink it too.
Just Baked, a specialty cupcake and bakery shop, has signed a special licensing agreement with Faygo to use the company’s iconic name as well as its flavored syrups to create the Just Baked and Faygo co-branded cupcakes.
The Faygo cupcakes, including Red, Grape and Orange Pop flavors, will initially be available at area Busch’s and Hiller’s stores. Just Baked is also currently in discussions to offer the cupcakes at additional retail locations throughout Michigan.

Credit union opens new office
Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union opened a new office at 48945 Hayes Road, Shelby Township on Nov. 8. It is the ninth location for the expanding credit union.
The facility provides better services for members in northern Macomb County.
The office features two drive-thru lanes, Internet kiosk for member usage, coffee bar and a 24-hour access automated teller machine.
