The Metropolitan Consolidated Association of Realtors has named Kathy Coon its 2010 Realtor of the Year and beginning Jan. 1, she will serve as association president. Coon works with Real Living Great Lakes in Rochester. She formerly served as director, vice-president, secretary-treasurer and president-elect for the association.

Mattress To Go in Shelby Township has donated new pillows to Abigayle Ministries in Sterling Heights through its Mattress To Go’s Comfort for Everyone program. Donations of new pillows are made on a quarterly basis to local shelters for every mattress set purchased at Mattress To Go.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business and has also completed doctorate course work in economics at Wayne State University with a concentration in urban economics and industrial organization.
