Neighborhood Service group collecting clothes for men

The Neighborhood Service Organization recently re-opened its Clothes Closet for men involved in its programs and The Shirt Box at 32500 Northwestern Hwy. in Farmington Hills. The group is collecting gently used men’s professional clothing and customers are encouraged to bring in used garments, including suits, dress shirts, slacks, ties and sport coats to help the nonprofit’s clients dress for success when applying for new jobs and making the transition back into the workforce. The Shirt Box is a permanent drop-off location for clothing donations. “People have been hit hard by this economy and we need to do all that we can to help,” says Ron Elkus of The Shirt Box. “We’ve been hosting various clothing and fundraising drives for local charities for over 25 years. We are very happy to continue.”
