FastTrac New Venture Entrepreneurial Training is offering a 10-week program that helps evaluate business opportunities and develop an action plan for owning a business.
Classes will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Mondays beginning Jan. 31 at the Macomb County Administration Building, 1 S. Main, 9th Floor conference room, Mount Clemens.
Registration fee is $100, which will be reimbursed at the end of successful completion of course requirements.

Beaumont Hospitals names new services company
Jones Lang LaSalle has entered a services partnership with Beaumont Hospitals to manage Beaumont’s health care real estate, facilities and equipment services delivery.
Jones Lang LaSalle at Beaumont Hospitals will provide all of Beaumont’s health care facility services, including facility management, construction program management, utility operations, energy and sustainability services, property management, biomedical equipment maintenance and service management, lease administration, portfolio strategy and real estate transaction services. The partnership is aimed at saving costs and improving quality, service and efficiency.
The new entity will exclusively serve an 8.5-million-square-foot portfolio, including three hospital campuses, 5.1 million square feet of acute care hospital space, 1,744 licensed acute care patient beds and 101 owned or leased off-campus patient care or business sites located in metro Detroit.
Ted Spicer of Jones Lang LaSalle and Jim Safran from BSC will lead service operations for the new venture. It will launch in the first quarter of 2011. Visit www.joneslanglasalle.com.

Health Alliance Plan has opened its Southfield Lobby Customer Service Center, 21700 Northwestern Hwy.
Members will be able to make individual and group payments, receive billing, claims and open enrollment information, order ID cards and access SOLO individual plan online services.
Hours are 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Visit www.hap.org.
