Social Media is a Party! “Using Social Media to Find Your Next Position/Employee” is Thursday, March 1 at Dino's Lounge, 22740 Woodward Ave., Ferndale. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. The panel discussion which begins at 7 p.m., features Matt Mosher, CEO of hiredMYway.com and David Phillips, co founder of DetroitNET.org. OAKLAND/ MACOMB Tim Horton’s offers smile cookie to benefit charity Tim Horton’s locations in Metropolitan Detroit are hosting their Smile Cookie campaign to benefit Children’s Hospital of Michigan from Saturday, Aug. 14 through Saturday, Aug. 21. While supplies last, guests can purchase a special chocolate chip cookie, decorated with a smile, for $1 plus tax.
