Palace Sports & Entertainment names director of marketing
Jared Rose of Auburn Hills was named director of corporate marketing for Palace Sports & Entertainment of Auburn Hills. Rose will be responsible for sponsorship sales and account management of corporate partnerships for The Palace, Detroit Pistons, DTE Energy Music Theatre and Meadow Brook Music Festival. Rose was previously the vice president of Marketing and Sponsorship for Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League in Spokane, Washington where he developed the overall team’s marketing and advertising campaign including creative, graphic design, production, buying and execution of advertising.


Community Network Services supervisor receives credential

Oxford resident Laura Richards-Farwell, a supervisor at the Waterford Township-based nonprofit organization Community Network Services, recently received the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance credential from the American Society for Training & Development Certification Institute. ‘Biggest Loser’ to share her experiences at luncheon
The Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Business Women’s Exchange will hold their luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18 at the Palazzo Grande, 54660 Van Dyke Ave., Shelby Township. Google headquarters recently sent a letter and placard to Diamond Vault of Troy, 801 W. Big Beaver, Troy, informing them that they had earned the title of “Favorite Place on Google.” The letter read, “Between December 1 and February 28, Diamond Vault of Troy was one of the most popular local businesses on Google, as measured by how many times people found their business listing, and clicked on it for more information.” Less than 250,000 businesses in the U.S. receive this recognition.
