STERLING HEIGHTS
Donations sought to restore 1967 T-Bird
Larry Sauger of Sterling Heights, a member of Vietnam Veteran Chapter 154, has donated his 1967 T-Bird to the Baker College Auto Restoration program. The car will be a teaching tool for students because it requires hands-on metal finishing and painting. The college had hoped to complete the car this year, but budget constraints are making that difficult as replacement parts are expensive. Anyone interested in contributing to getting the classic car back out on the road can contact Mark Grajewski, director of the automotive program at Baker College, at 586-790-5215.
