CJPS Medical Systems completes relocation
CJPS Medical Systems has completed its move of the Remote Patient Monitoring Business that it acquired from Delphi into a new facility in Auburn Hills. Assets purchased from Delphi were relocated from Colorado and Indiana to Michigan where the company will headquarter its homecare business.
Except for growing its sales force and its clinical team, the company has the manpower to handle the manufacturing, testing and shipping of the product at this time. However, according to CEO Christophe Sevrain, if the business grows according to plan, the company should be creating significant jobs.
The product is a small monitor, which is placed at the home of chronically-ill patients, such as patients with congestive heart failure, end-stage renal disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes or other ailments.
The company moved into its new 50,000-square-foot facility at 2333 E. Walton Blvd. in Auburn Hills earlier this month.

DGE, SLW announce strategic allianceRochester Hills-based engineering services supplier DGE Inc. and automotive pump manufacturer SLW of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, have announced a strategic alliance. DGE will provide electronics hardware and software design services, including test system development, to complement SLW’s pump design, development and manufacturing expertise.
DGE Inc., founded in 1984, provides electrical engineering design and consulting services to automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. SLW Automotive Inc is a joint venture with BorgWarner that was established in 2009 following the acquisition of a majority share of the BorgWarner oil pump business by the rapidly expanding Chinese Shenglong Group.

City recognized as five star community by eCities 2010
The City of Auburn Hills was honored as a five star city by eCities 2010 in recognition of city efforts to foster entrepreneurial growth and economic development. The eCities research surveyed over 100 communities in Michigan that collectively are home to 128,242 entrepreneurs who earned $3.4 billion in annual income. These communities also had $1.2 billion in commercial development last year and account for nearly half the state’s commercial property.

Ross named chief executive group chair
Daniel Ross of Troy has been named a new chief executive group chair by Vistage Michigan of St. Clair Shores, a membership based organization that helps business leaders make decisions and generate results through tools.
Ross is the founder of Sensible Leader, a coaching business. He will act as the group’s adviser, mentor and business coach, conducting one-on-one coaching sessions with each of his chief executive group members. He will also facilitate nine group workshops per year with his chief executive members.
Vistage Michigan currently operates 12 chief executive groups in Southeast Michigan.

O’Quinn, McCormick named to diversity council board
The Oakland County Employment Diversity Council has selected two new members to its Board of Directors. Kathleen O’Quinn and Kevin McCormick were appointed to the board with a unanimous board vote.
O’Quinn is the founder and president of Quintessential Presentations Inc., an organizational development firm located in Oakland County.
McCormick is president and CEO of Alchemedia Creative, a communications firm that specializes in content development, marketing strategy and social media implementation for clients.
