Main Street Oakland County hosts downtown workshop Thursday
Main Street Oakland County is hosting a workshop “MakeYour Business & Downtowns Better Now.” The first of two sessions will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 at The Crofoot, 1 South Saginaw in downtown Pontiac. Registration is $55 and includes conference materials, continental breakfast, lunch and snack. Main Street Oakland County and Michigan Main Street representatives attend for only $25 each. OAKLAND/ MACOMB Tim Horton’s offers smile cookie to benefit charity Tim Horton’s locations in Metropolitan Detroit are hosting their Smile Cookie campaign to benefit Children’s Hospital of Michigan from Saturday, Aug. 14 through Saturday, Aug. 21. While supplies last, guests can purchase a special chocolate chip cookie, decorated with a smile, for $1 plus tax.
