Wells Fargo Ventures, Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel join forces
Wells Fargo Ventures, LLC, a subsidiary of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., and Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel Realtors have agreed to the terms of a joint venture to originate, process and fund mortgage loans for Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel customers.
The joint venture, Bankers Home Loan LLC, is co-owned by Wells Fargo Ventures LLC and Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The alliance will give customers of Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel a wide range of home-financing products and services through Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, enabling Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel’s to provide one-stop shopping for all real estate related services.
Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel recently experienced rapid growth, expanding from 125 sales agents to more than 450 in the last 24 months.

Detroit Medical Center working on various hospital projects
Detroit Medical Center officials are working on hospital construction projects totaling more than $60 million just four days after DMC’s landmark partnership with Vanguard Health Systems was sealed.
Architectural/engineering firms are being announced on eight DMC projects and construction management firms are being announced on two. Contracts totaling $50 million went to the DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan Specialty Center and to private-room renovation at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. Brinker LLC was awarded the Children’s construction contract and Shepley, Bulfinch, Richardson and Abbott was awarded the A/E contract. Auch/Mig was awarded the Huron Valley construction contract and Stuckey Vitale was awarded the A/E contract. The two major architectural projects, the Cardiovascular Institute and Multispecialty Building, awarded to Harley Ellis Devereaux, a five-story building of 150,000 square feet; and the Sinai-Grace Hospital Emergency Department expansion, awarded to Smith Group, which will double the emergency room and add 46 new ICU beds. The five-level, 105,550-square-foot Children’s specialty center will house a pediatrics clinic, adolescent medicine, outpatient rehabilitation, specialty clinics and 200 physician office suites to meet growing demand for outpatient services. WOW company expands
WOW internet, cable and phone company has completed installing fiber optic cable network in Beverly Hills, giving residents and business owners an additional choice of service. WOW has invested more than $2 million with this expansion and is expected to expand into the cities of Birmingham and Grosse Pointe Woods in the coming months.
