Jan. 25 Dress for Success event offered

The National Council of Jewish Women, Greater Detroit Section will host its second annual event for job seekers, Dress For Success, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25 at the Royal Oak Council Resale Shop, 1221 E. Lincoln Road, Royal Oak.
Karen Gutman, an employment specialist from the Jewish Vocational Service will be on hand to provide tips on resume writing, networking and job search skills. Topics of her presentation, which will be at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and will include: the value of image in a successful job search, attire and appearance and how your image fits with your company.
A spokesperson from the ORT Hermelin Resource Training Center will offer information on computer skills for job training. Claudia from Salon Spargo will be available to provide tips on hair styling and makeup.
